In Which Hero’s Family Refutes Her Claim to the New York Monarchy

By telling her to shut up when she sings, “I’M THE KING OF NEW YORK!” a hundred times. (Newsies, you guys. Newsies.)

Anyway, I have a valid excuse for not posting. Here it is:

There are currently movers in my house, which means I can’t do a heel-click tapdance leap from a doorway shouting, “LET’S GET DRUNK!” “YEAH!” “NOT ON LIQUOR, FAME WORKS QUICKER – I’M THE KING OF NEW YORK!”

They also looks quite confused when I accusingly shout, “Hey! That’s my cigar!”

Seriously. Nobody knows anything around here.

I should have a post up tonight or tomorrow, with some shots of my room and some questions about the arrangement of furniture. *indecisive* *agh*

Have a great day! I’ll be back soon!

Haha, I have no idea! I comment on her blog sometimes, so… *shrugs* But it was a pleasant surprise, though I sort of had a heart attack. xD

@Kelli: I’m not sure if you’re a regular reader of my ridiculous little blog over here, but if you are, well, 1) thank you! and 2) I’m so flattered I have no idea what to do with myself. 😛

Hi Aspirer! Haha! I’m the one that’s flattered now.

Hero, I’ve been a regular reader of your blog since you linked up with my August Resolutions. I just love your writing, so I subscribed on Google Reader. I was actually telling Josh about this post today, because the title stuck with me (the thought of you tapdancing around movers did as well, but the title made me laugh especially!). Seriously, keep it up – you’re a very talented storyteller! 😀

P.S. You really should rent Newsies! It’s great!
